Course:
Lovely loop on south valley ditchroads, with a little singletrack and a little tarmac. 35-40mm tires are probably ok. One sandy bit, that may not be rideable. Several quick dismounts, but not really a cyclocross. 12.2mi lap. Course on Trailforks New updated GPX file here. Format:
We will do a one lap slowish (around 12mph average) preride and then race 2 laps. Riders doing the ride as more of a tour might want to do just one 1 lap after the preride.
Entry fees:
No entry fee as it is an informal non-permitted event, but there will be a suggested donation of $15.
Directions:
Take I-25 south from Albuquerque about 7 mi past Rio Bravo, cross the river, and exit on Isleta. Go north 3/4 mi to Los Padillas, then left (west) and into the Los Padillas Community Center parking. There are restrooms at the community center. Ride back out from the community center east over Isleta, left ~100m to Desidiero and east another 300m to the ditchroad where we will start.

We will use Google Forms for registration. It does not cost anythihng to preregister. There will be a 10 rider minimum for this event. I have a card reader on my phone so you can make a donation with a card at the race. You could also Paypal me at yourstruly@fastmail.com "Friends and Fmaily."
